as far as i know it was mego third attemp at barbie. Maddy mod being first and Dinah mite second.I think 29cm and 46cm candy was the fourth.
I do not know if there same size as Cher,wonder woman, and farrah which I think is 32cm or 12 1/2
Superstar blonde outfits fit barbie you can ask the seller how tall the doll is.
60 pounds or 120 dollars is a little pricey, in my opinon

Hi Karen,
I've taken some photos of the melt. The arms don't move due to the melt in the shoulders. The legs however, move freely.but a lot of melts The dolls body has talc on which aids in taking the clothes on and off the hair is dry and matted at bits .

Superstar Mego doll - available

Hi Karen,
I have been clearing out my loft and found the same doll you were looking at in February. I remembered she was sold as a 'superstar' doll and I bought her in Macro of all places. I have loads of outfits too, as I was a very greedy child.
She is a 1975 model and is pretty good apart from marking to the arms and a big green splodge on her ankle. I am trying to buy a new pair of legs from Texas!
If I decide to list her would you want me to let you know?

Hey Guys This is my new Mego & Palitoy 1978 Superstar Doll , I got her today Hope you like seeing ......

she is a Palitoy ( sculpt by Mego )doll Issued exclusively in the UK ,the mold was to be for the Cheryl ladd doll but Mego lost the copy right to it, Matel took the copy right for the cheryl ladd doll and made there own version,the mold was bought by Palitoy and was made for the UK market only she was made in 1977-78 she is Very rare,and hard to find i had been looking for one for a long time,the box showed her in outfits worn by the Cher doll Iv only seen 2 on E Bay one sold for 200 pound and I got mine A little cheaper £150 the body is the same as all the Female Mego dolls the face sculpt is very very good and done in the same style as all the Mego Female Dolls from that time , Iv got this information from 3 Mego fanatics so I do believe this , have any of the Mego people on here got some information ? I would love to here anything you know .....
