The Maxi, The Wrap and the L & L

Ladies and Gents, meet the Maxi, The Wrap and The L &L, three outfits that I declare, hands down, the winners. I can totally close up shop today because, let's face it, job done! There is nothing that can touch these incredible outfits, except maybe this:
This image was graciously lent to me by the good people at Hakes Americana, one of the finest auction houses in the world and ending this week is a mint condition Maxi outfit. Seriously check it out here but be warned, as I may outbid you on this one. The idea that it's my exact waist size combined with my compulsion to needlessly embarrass my children may push me over the edge to win this.

When I saw the title to this thread I was wondering why we were talking about certain feminine products.

How come they only show African Americans wearing these? what about the 50 something, somewhat portly white guy with the cheezy toupee that actually bought and wore these things. It was the perfect suit to wear for the aging swinger while he drove his Monte Carlo/T-Bird/Cordoba down the street blaring Disco Duck on the eight track, and made weird pointing/winking motions at every woman he saw under the age of sixty.

Wow that guy on the left is pretty skinny. Actually, I kinda dig the suit on the right.

Yeah B, you should have saved this for the final PS post, if you ever pulled the plug. Because this is the corker. I can't even find the words to slam these...

The Maxi is the most hideous fashion of all time.

Those are outstanding. That's time capsule material there.

I think the guy on the right is Brock Peters, the actor who played Admiral Cartwright from Star Trek films. Sure looks like him.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I actually got to see the outfit on the right in person. Hake's auction has it for sale. The picture's a little misleading, because the outfit is much cooler in person... the yellow trim is actually gold and it's glittery.
