DudE! Seriously. How do I sign up to submit a sculpt? Because I would consider losing a pinky toe for inclusion. (Buck Rogers space gun toting lady riding an octopus? C'mon... just give me the what and I'm all over it)

I have a wall display with about 45 MARs on it. I once drove to Weeki Wachee Springs FL on my way to Clarksville, TN (three hour detour) just to try and get a specialty mold MAR they had there (a mermaid riding a seahorse. ... I KNOW!!!!).
They'd closed the park. Turned out they'd yanked the machine too. It was totally a "national lampoon closed Wally World" day for me.

I talked the Tampa Museum of Science and Industry into letting me in after closing to run dollars through a machine with a space shuttle in it when I was driving through.
Oh, oh! Once, (not at band camp) I walked into the Fort Lauderdale MOSI with my sister to have a casual day with my nieces, and I jerked to a complete halt.
"They have a Mold-A-Rama Machine," I said.
"No they don't... they never have," she said.
"Yes they do. I can smell it."
"That's the pop-corn maker," my brother in law offered.
"No ... I mean yes, there's that smell too - but underneath it - there's a working MAR machine in this building."

They'd installed two (T Rex and a Locomotive). Yes, I found them by smell.
I just want to say that before you look at me that way, know that if you could sense Secret Identity mailer boxes by scent you'd SO be stocking up on decongestants...

But yeah, I'm still missing a few from Metro bro - (and seaquarium) next time you plan a trip drop me a PM

Oh and if anyone lives near the Chicago MOSI I think they added a bat mold I'm looking for. It's hard because the big MARS trading sites have gone dark recently, so there's not much in the way of machine/mold update info for locations.

Greenfield Village in Michigan has them all through the Henry Ford museum. The Model T one was broken when we were there, but I got a Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.

I got those! I also got a "Rosa Parks Bus" in green, which I got super excited about. (what can I say, I'm a civil rights history nerd)

lol! man you really like those things huh? I just gt the annual pass so i'll be going a lot with the baby, it's 5 minutes from my house so next time I go I'll writ down everything they have, i think i saw like 8 machines and I'll let everyone know

Well it ain't cheap from what I recall. Was thinking of having a mold made of the logo I use for my business, but not sure I could swing the cost. Here's the little guy as a rotocast polyurethane figure:

Seems like some people finally made this come to fruition, well sorta.
That's what my friend and I wanted to do. He's a professor at Portland AI and does Industrial Design.
He came up to Seattle and showed me how to do casting with resin and also wanted to do the wax mold machine but with his creations and other artists in Portland. The urban vinyl movement is pretty big in Portland among the artist as well as here in Seattle.
I wouldn't mind getting a mold of a Tim Biskup character, or Drinky Crow or a Robot from Ashley Wood.
These machines would certainly be a huge hit with new molds.
Just wish I had the cash to buy one and get molds made.

I really don't remember any of those things, beyond the ones you got in gumball machines. Sometimes they had the lanyard string on it to wear like a necklace. My mom never went for the impulse "please Mommy, please" items, whether it was gumball machine toys (I could get the penny gum, but not the nickel prizes), rack toys, or these Zoo toys. Guess I was just deprived.
