Wow, a tough question to answer. I have very fond memories of my Mego Hulk - he got a lot of play time as a child. Broke his forearm off in an epic struggle with my Mego 12 inch Superman figure. Also spent a good amount of time playing with my Kenner (3 3/4 inch) Han Solo, Chewbacca and Millenium Falcon.
Mego Superman, Batman and Robin... Star Wars action figures and especially the snow speeder (yeah I know that was the 80's) and of course the big hinkin' Godzilla that had the lever on the back of his head that would allow him to shoot out that blistering hot plastic flame!
WGSH,Trek, and Apes.Sometimes my Trek crew would wind up on the Planet of the Apes via "time warp".Other than Megos there was: Joe Adventure Team, Big Jim, Steve Austin, and lots of Evel Knievel.
My earliest memory of an action figure was Major Matt Mason from the late 60's
