smdm transport and repair station question

I have a transport and repair station that has a black piece under the window. In all the pictures I found with a google search and on ebay, the piece that is black on mine is white. All the other ones I saw are white. Does anybody else have one with the black piece?

The black one is the kenner USA version the white clear one is the UK denys fisher version I have both versions in my collection
