I have Indy with a broken thumb. I'm a huge Indy fan and the original vintage stuff is a "someday when I have more money" line for me. Funds are limited but I'm hoping to get one of Chris and Co.'s MegoMeet figures. Priorities...
I love this line, I think I'm only missing Indy German for the MOC human set.
Here's the Indy category page on my Blog with most of the MOC's pictured, including the crazy rare Toltoys "Offer Not Available in Australia" stickered versions.
I had some of these when Raiders came out. I really liked them. I remember waiting for and getting Belloq in the mail back then (proof of purchase thing).
I also had the 12" Indy around the same time and thought it was awesome!
Hey,
I started on this line about a year and a half ago. Completed it this year. Have all the figures loose, all the playsets loose and boxed, a bunch carded, and the two composite sets (mail away for three or four figures) as well. One day will make a great display, but for now just in boxes waiting for the space.

yeah my set is all in a box right now too. Still not sure how to display my 3 3/4 collections. Needs to be something that can keep dust out. Some srot of wall mounted display case is what I am thinking. I'd like to display the IJ set and also whatever I have left of vintage Star Wars. I sold off much of my vintage SW collection a few years back but could not bring myself to sell the Indy stuff

Hey,
I got everything loose so that I could put together dioramas with the sets and figures, then also display each figure loose in a group. Put the boxed examples behind the dioramas and set up the loose figures above.
At least, in my head, that is how it will be.

In my ideal display of just about any toy line this is what I'd do too. I see figures set up like a chorus line - I mean, soldier line - and then have playsets and vehicles with extra figures in them nearby. You can't have playsets sit empty and this way you have the best of both worlds.
