    help please

I had a toy when I was young, mid 70's. It was a cardboard baseball player about 3 feet tall; you threw plastic balls at it. If you hit his belt buckle, his pants fell down; I want to say it was called Beanball Billy, but I don't remember for sure. Can anyone confirm this or better yet provide a picture.

    Much thanks,
    Rick

I looked it up under Bean Ball Billy and Beanball Billy in Google images with no luck finding the toy that you're describing. Some interesting pictures did pop-up, however...lol

Anyhow, I'm sure someone else here will have much more luck in helping you, Rick.

He's called Bean Ball Barney. There was also a Bugs Bunny version of him in a cowboy outfit. You can find a pic of him and Bugs on Page 491 of the Sears 1976Christmas Wish book.

Much thanks. Using that info, I was able to find someone on Flickr who has scans of complete Xmas catalogs. Great stuff

        Thanks again!!!
