Great list Brian. I have some of those vintage ones and will never own some of the others because they're too new for my taste. I would love to own that pedal car.
I also have lots of Batmobile knock-offs from Mexico and Argentina, those are cool too."...The agony of my soul found vent in one loud, long and final scream of despair..." - Edgar Allan PoeComment

The reason I wanted the Toy Biz movie Batmobile over the Kenner was that Toy Biz was a two-seater.
I agree, probably the Movie Batmobile and Batwing are the only Toy Biz Batman toys worth having. I wonder, if these two toys had stunk as bad as the action figures they produced, would Kenner have complained at all?Comment

Man, I got two really angry comments there, one accusing me of doing absolutely no research and not putting any love into it. I think the last 20 years I've been doing nothing but research out of love, it's weird how personal some people take these.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

[QUOTE=Earth 2 Chris;460534]As someone who owns both (well the electric one belongs to the boy), let me tell you, the pedal one is more reliable. There is a reason the electric one was on clearance at TRU. It lasted about 5 months and then quit. The company sent me a repair kit, and it still didn't work. It was cool while it lasted though.
I got mine for free for this very reason. There's a wonky circuit board in the wiring that kills most of them. I rewired ours so that it has basic forward and reverse, and it's fine now. I'd love to have one of the Empire ones, but I've never had the opportunity to get one local and shipping is prohibitive. If you still have your electric one, there are diagrams online for the rewire.Comment

No, the car Brian listed was made by Empire in the 70s. Here's mine, it's missing the bubble windshields. I had one as a kid too!

Good solid list, but I can't believe that I've never owned the Corgi Batmobile.
Too bad that the My First Batmobile couldn't make the list, my son got one for Christmas and really likes it. I'll have to look into the Imaginext one too (he got the Batcave and the little mini Batmobile but not the full sized one).Comment

Sadly if I show up at my 20th High School reunion riding one bragging about the "ultimate treehouse" I finally built I just don't think I would be seen as the winner I hoped to be.
