I have Ben Franklin in the box, picked him up last summer at a flea market for $2.00...I don't remember ever seeing them for sale in the '70s, and Ben is the only one I've seen "in the wild". I'd love to find the rest, I love historical stuff like that.
BTW, is there any type of Civil War era Mego style figures? I've looked in the shops visiting Gettysburg, but nothing reallly Mego-ey. Higher end and 13" Gi Joe style, I've seen those...anyone ever see Megoesque?

For the Heroes of the American Revolution there are 9 total:
              Benjamin Franklin
              Daniel Boone
              John Paul Jones
              Paul Revere
              Thomas Jefferson
              Marquis De Lafayette
              George Washington
              Patrick Henry
              Nathan Hale
I have 6 of the 9 MIB and would love to get the remaining 3: John Paul Jones, Marquis De Lafayette and Nathan Hale.

As for a Civil War line of Mego like figures, there are the following military ones made by Excel (yes I know only a couple of them are from the Civil War era):
              Admiral Halsey
              General MacArthur
              General Eisenhower
              George Washington
              Robert E. Lee
              Ulysses S. Grant
              Paul Revere
              Theodore Roosevelt
              General Stillwell
These are fairly easy to find but not in good shape. Coullou may still have some in his vault.

I use to own George Washington when I was a kid and my brother got Thomas Jefferson on a trip to Pic N Save back in L.A. around 1976. They have a huge section of these dolls and boy did that section reek of cheap plastic. Even the dolls stunk when you played with them. I don't think it was healthy to breathe in this stuff.
But I did like their clothes and it was fun having GW fight The Lizard.

                  Hmmmm....

Didn't someone do generic "Spirit of 1776" style figures?
