    Creature-Black Lagoon Fish tank prop?

I remember in the early 70s going to an old pet shop and seeing a fish tank.
In the fish tank was The Creature from the Black Lagon and he was one of those "bubbly" props. One that would expound air as a "filter of sorts. When the air came out it would split at the waist and the bubbles would come out of his mid-section.

It looked pretty dead on, almost like a smaller scale Aurora model.

Not sure if it was licensed, and I have not seen one since. I do know I wanted it badly that day and the memory is obviously still with me.

I used to get a high end Auction catolog. On the cover a couple of years ago the had it sealed. It was A really good Miniature Aura. I would like to have the second issue model since hes swimming. I thought about putting in one of the new staues of Gillman, Aquaman or Namor but theyre crazy expenbsive

Yeah, it's a really cool item that I must keep repeating to myself that I don't need.

Thanks guys. I REALLY wanted it that day in the early 70s, but it was actually in one of the shop's tanks and they would not sell it.

Talk about how things stick to part of your brain....I can't remember what I did yesterday, but I rememeber that day vividly.

I went through like 6 of those creatures. A pet shop by me was still selling them well into the mid 80's. Got some nice funds for him in the 90's and wish I had more
