Classic toys you never owned but loved the commercial...

Back in the day, when catchy TV slogans were the thing, did you ever just like a commercial w/ no particular desire to own the toy on which it was based? I ask this question, b/c for no particular reason, the Pizza Hut toy oven (much like an Easy Bake Oven) TV jingle popped into my head today. I never wanted one of these, (I did already have an Easy Bake), but I did like the jingle:

"It's Pizza Hut, it's Pizza Hut
Just wait until you try
The pizza that you bake yourself
For tasty pizza pie
You make the crust, you make the filling
Push it in and wait
You bake it in your Pizza Hut
And wow, it's really great!
(a kid says) Mamma Mia!"

Anyone else like commercials for toys they never wanted?

Yup, my Family went NUTS trying to find Shazam! for me, they had my uncle get one in Ohio for me. Afterward cries for Thor went unanswered...... Oh and BTW in all the incarnations from mego to the present day, I HAVE YET TO OWN A COMPLETE FANTASTIC FOUR LINEUP!!!!came close a few times, never had Mego sue, or Marvel Heroes Sue, nor did they release Thing and Torch as Famous covers. Still deprived into 2010.....

Ummm...I don't think you understood the question. What I wanna know is did you ever see a commercial for a toy that you didn't want, but just liked the commercial anyway. We've already done the what you wish you got thread.

Jingles are still rotting away in my brain for toys (and other things) that I never owned.
For some reason it's the ones for dolls that I remember most.

"Rub-A_dub Dolly, soft pretty dolly, you give her a bath when you're in the tub.."

"Baby Alive soft and sweet, she can drink she can eat..."

"Here's a funny bunch of pals, some are guys and some are gals. The Honeyhill bunch..whose little hands really stick together, you can clip 'em on your hat, hang 'em on your sweater..."

"Scoot and scataway...baby thataway..."

"Bulletman the human bullet..."

"Where's Merlin now, where did it go? It's out with Billy playing tic-tac-toe...where's Merlin now? Better come clean. In the kitchen with mom playing music machine. beep,boop, beep, beep boop..."
