i had all of wave 1 when I was a kid but sold them off on ebay about 8 years ago. I am not much interested in the 3 3/4 figures anymore.
I actually saw a carded Adama and carded Imperious Leader at a tag sale today for $22.00 for the pair. guy was selling off a big part of his toy collection. I did not pick anything up because he knew the values and had them priced accordingly...I did consider the Gallactica figures just because, but ultimately passed.Comment

The lack of paint on these really is a shame, because just like pocket heroes, the paint maight have pushed the line into better sales. I remember seeing these as a kid, and my parents saying, these Star wars figures look so much better...(ultimatley it was their money and felt slighted because the figs looked "Cheap" next to star wars who they were directly competing with)Comment

Now a nice Galactica about 3 feet long would get me scratching for cash. Did they make anything like that? Kind of around the size/style of the Kenner Millenium Falcon?

I still have my missile firing Viper and Raider from when I was a kid. The decals are yellowing and peeling off the Viper a little, but the missiles still fire okay. Still have the pilots, too.
Always wanted the Galactica:

He first appeared as a mail in promo that was advertised in comic books. After that, he was just thrown in with the last wave of figures...Dont think he was an exclusive (?), just hard to find since the last wave had such spotty distribution."Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

I did get the LandRam there...and its exactly as pictured, including a lack of decals! Didnt even come with the little figure as it was supposed to! I tore it apart --along with all the "safety missile" Galactica vehicles I had, and made it rocket firing. All they did was add a piece to the missile so it couldnt fire out of the weapon....yank the dud missile, and your good to go!!
I still vividly recall Starbuck on an Apollo Card at WH Smith too. Since I later learned they used to buy out "last chance" stuff directly from the manufacturers at the time, its possible they got some test shot stuff??"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

When they switched from firing to non-firing missiles, all they did was make a little plastic ridge on the missiles. if you take the ship apart and file the missiles flat, then put it back together and the missiles will fire again just like the original release.Comment
