Never liked the He-Man bodies but liked the idea of a Warlord line.

I liked that Remco used the same bodies for their AWA Wrestling line.

He-Man enters Castle Grayskull, prepared to do battle with the Evil Skeletor... but wait, who's this at the control panel? OH MY GAWD, IT'S RIC FLAIR!

"Wooo! To be the HE-Man, you've got to beat the man! Let me tell you about Snake Mountain... it may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line!WOOOOO!"

Hercules, Arak and Warlord were never part of the same world in the comics were they?

I noticed recently that version of Hercules showed up in Wonder Woman.

I think they're really cool. I'm a big fan of all of Remco's MOTU-ish lines. Warlord, Warrior Beasts, Conan, etc. it's all good.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

            >Hercules, Arak and Warlord were never part of the same world in the comics were they?

Hercules kinda gets moved around a lot. Back in the day they'd dropped hints that the future of Hercules was the same as the Kamandi one, but not enough to say decisively one way or another. (And Knamandi has always been sort of on the periphery of the DC Universe.) I THINK Skataris IS officially part of the DC Universe, and Arak.... I don't know.

Not part of the same ERA, but part of the same world....

Hercules has ties to the Atomic Knights but more recent DC history has retconned the Atomic Knights as a fantasy of Gardner Grayle. In addition, the version of Hercules from "Hercules Unbound" has indeed been seen recently in Wonder Woman.

Arak's adventures were always confined to his own time period and he had no interaction back then with other protions of the DCU. However, he and Valda the Iron Maiden did appear in a Crisis cross-over with other time thrown heroes in the "All-Star Squadron". He also had descendants in the modern-day DCU, the Flying Fox of the Young All-Stars and Arak of Helix.

And Warlord has had numerous cross-overs with the DCU....

Snapped a pic of these today along with my Conans which I posted in another thread.

Great figures. Remco made a lot of cool fantasy lines in the 80s.

Wow, I didn't even know they made action figures way back then.

Not a fan of this line of toys, but this is one of the best cross-over scenarios I've pictured in a while!

I wonder if this line would have been more successful if there was some kind of tie-in cartoon show at that time. Anyone know if it was even pitched?

Even a non-canonical tie in comic book ala Super Powers might have helped.
