Thanks tmthor!!! I was convinced there were great toys all around us but sometimes we are so focused on past toy glories we miss the here and now. The entire alien cast cost $11 including the spider behind them and a few parts from my junk bin. Now I have to find them all again. Most of these aliens ended up with kids who visited and went home happy.Comment

About the bootleg Star Wars models, the ARII original fakes (sic) are a different line + company from the Galaxy figures, but there's definitely a similar bootleggy vibe!
They came in awesome boxes. I'll try to put together a pic.
Unfortunately the originals are ridiculously difficult to find. Many years back, just about everything was snapped up by hardcore Japanese collectors. Now you have to work hard to find straggler pieces here and there. ^_^Last edited by musasa; Feb 3, '17, 9:42 PM.Comment

Fun find! It's a winner all the way. A red Batman and in case you are confused his name is right there on his chest. Too cool in my book! I know this version is earlier version 80s mid maybe. This gem also comes carded similar to a Mego.Comment

I thought I might add some Knock off goodness to keep this revived thread going. Here are a bunch of 12in Gijoe scale KOs. The Diver and Firefighter are KO Gijoe Fighting Yank from Mail Order Catalogs.

Galaxy Empire I believe they were released around 1997 to capitalize on the re-released trilogy. Some interesting choices Jedi Luke, Shadows of the Empire Chewy, and Boba Fett always being a popular character.
