    Old toy rocket- 50s-70s

I'm trying to find out who made this rocket (this one is missing the nose cone). Actually I'm looking for one like it (I got this photo from an eBay auction that I missed out on). I seem to remember getting a space playset as a kid with this and a bunch of other "spacey" bits and pieces, some from the old Fireball XL5 molds, etc.

If anyone has any rockets like this or parts that came in play sets let me know.

I definitely had this rocket (or a knockoff) as a child during the mid '70s. I never received any hand-me-down toys growing up, so it had to have been purchased new during that time.

I remember there being a top piece/capsule that would fly off when that blue lever was clicked. Many times the spring attached to the lever would go flying off too. I believe it may also have included a white astronaut - because since there was no door for him - I do recall shoving him up the hollow tail piece for adventures.

      Can't remember anything else.
Currently seeking - Original RM Robin mask. Plus other various WGSH parts.

Too bad we can't make out a factory mark. Something to put us on the right track.

More photos and info I found. This is the one I had when I was a kid (at least it had the same nose cone and "satellites"). If anyone ever sees one let me know:

weren't some of these used as party favors for birthday cakes and such? I seem to recall seeing such items in bakeries as well as the "party" aisle in stores back then

perhaps searching for them with "party favor" in the title on ebay and not under the toy section might bring something up?
