During the end of my involvement in the Seattle Toy Scene, I attended a toy show at a high school. Since I don't drive, I recall little of just where this show was, that I had purchased a table. During my first walk through, a dealer friend of mine had a Prince Valiant tin litho shield with three BB dings on it. I believe it had red plastic handle on the back. The price, $50 usd. That was all I had on me and I had yet to see most of the tables. Instead of asking him to hold it for a moment as I quickly check the show, I chose to just make a quick pass and come back if there was nothing I wanted more. In a few minutes I'd found nothing to compare. Rushing back to purchase the shield, I found out it had sold just minutes before.

Back when I was I guess 14 or 15 My dad dropped us off to see a movie across three wide parking lots was a Childrens Palace. These guys had a big bunch of Mego Mr Fantastics and Batmans up. mid to later 80s.
I saw Star Trek Motion picture figures. I grabbed teh whole set but Dad was suppossed to pick me up at thetheatre . I asked the grown up in front of me in the check out line what time it was and it was too late! I had to put back the stuff and run!
Turns out he told me the wrong time. I had time.Comment
