    As he told me at the time, he had yet to open it. Did he ever? I don't know. I moved away from Seattle a couple of years ago .
    I told him that if he wanted the kids to be able to play with one, he could most likly find a well loved and worn one for a affordable price at a show or maybe ebay. Then as nice as I could be, I expressed to him, That anyplace that the kids could even see the boxed toy was dangerous. The look he gave me, gave me the impression he fully understood what I meant.
    When he told me the story, I was so wrapped up in expressing the importance of what he had and how to choose the road ahead. I didn't have the thought of a tear. Nevertheless, That story touched my heart too. If that had been me, I would never allow it out of my sight.
    Good thing it wasn't socks, indeed. Better still, his "Steve" has his socks!
