    Viva Zorro!

In the early 1980s Gabriel Toys, (known mostly for their fan-freaking-tastic line of Lone Ranger toys) picked up the license to the Filmation Zorro television series and worked their usual magic with a series of awesome 3 3/4" action figures.

I don't ever recall seeing these at retail. I knew the 3 3/4 Lone Ranger figures existed due to the ads in comic books, but I never saw those either. I loved the cartoon series, so I would have snapped these up in a heartbeat!

I have seen them on Ebay a couple of times, and was severely tempted.

Gabriel's Lone Ranger and Zorro lines where some of the best sculpted and painted figures in the 3 3/4 inch scale at the time. Shame they didn't do more in the scale. Really top notch figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

A 10" Zorro & horse to match the Marx/Gabriel Lone Ranger would've been awesome.

I loved this and the LR line. I used these with my Empire Legends of the West figures and just wish there had been more. I never had Amigo (or even saw him in a store) but remember vividly getting Zorro and Tempest for Christmas to go with my others.
