Not having a sister I don't think I ever really did. I never even remember asking for Batgirl or Supergirl Megos.

I had a fluffy kitty cat doll with pink flowers in the fur of her head. I must have been 4 or 5 at the time, saw the cat doll in the store and just decided that I wanted it. I named her fluffy and she was my pet because I couldn't get a real cat.
            It's all good!

It's easy being a boy and not getting girl toys. Girl toys blew.

I should know, I'm a girl... that wanted boy toys. THAT, my friend is an uphill battle.

"Mom, I want Batman and Robin!"

"How about Batgirl? She's like your Barbie."

"Ya, okay...but I want Batman and Robin."

"We'll get you Batgirl since she'll fit in with Barbie"

"Batgirl doesn't have magnets on her feet, mom."

"Why do you want magnets on her feet? Barbie doesn't have magnets on her feet."

"I DON'T want magnets on her feet. I want Batman and Robin with magnets on their feet."

"Then it's settled, since you don't want magnets on Batgirl's feet, it's perfect. She doesn't have any and you'll get her."

"Can I have Bo and Luke Duke instead?"

              "You DON'T want Batgirl then?"

"No, I want Batman and Robin."

              "Batgirl it is then."

Only Batgirl that I can recall and aparently she doesn't count.

I just re--read the title of the post. I must edit: I requested Batgirl but I didn't get one until I was 27.

Yep, I had a couple of Ken dolls, and I think I had Malibu Barbie. This was when I was about 3 or 4. I also got the Barbie pool set. I had two female cousins who I was very close with and we're only slightly older than me, so I wanted Barbie toys so I could be included. And I had fun with them. I don't think it's any big deal *shrug*

I also got a Monchichi one year. I've always thought stuffed animals were cool, my wife and I have quite a few of them.

I really wanted the Barbie Townhouse. Never got it. Of course I admit my main goal with that one was that I was gonna use my Megos and Joes with it, lol. I was a big "crossover" kid who mixed up my toys and played with them all together. I always wanted the Wayne Foundation and the Townhouse so I could make a whole small village for my figures!

Girl toys far from blew. Barbie alone had playsets, boats, cars and accessory sets that would make any WGSH figure envious. She even had a cherry red Ferrari. A Ferrari! Damn, that thing was awesome.

Oh, please. A girl that plays with "boy toys" like tonka trucks, cap guns and action figures is consider cool a tom boy. A boy with a "girl doll" is gonna get his butt kicked. You would have thought hell broke loose when I brought my Bionic Women doll to show and tell as a kid.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

When the Bionic Woman came out I knew I had to have it to go with Steve. I went to the store with my Mom, picked it out, and then went and sat in the car while she took it to the register. I wasn't embarrased in front of my friends to have it, but I couldn't bring myself to cross the line of going to the register with it.

To my Eternal Shame we have to give it up to Ken for having "Realistic Lifelike Hair " first. ( And I've learned Kung Fu Grip came from the UK . . .sadness)

I had a baby doll. I don't remember where I got it. I do remeber it had a jumper made out of a towel and my mother dyed it baby blue. I miss taht dollbaby.

Then in the 1990s I did beg my Mom to go get me a Raido Controlled Barbie Cycle for the Gi Joe Hall of Fame.
