Did you ever request and get any girls toys ?

Back in the day, did you ever swallow your pride and ask for a toy that was mainly marketed to girls ?

note: I do not count female action figures in a male line -- ie Mego Uhura, Wonder Woman etc)

If so, what was it ?

Here's my list ....

Barbie's Freindship Jet ... Hey, Big Jim and Star Trek Megos were really happy I got it for them

Easy Bake Oven ... Oh come on ... what kid (male or female) doesn't like eating and playing at the same time ?

A ken doll, so I could play Barbie with my sister. I got him but she still didn't play with me.

Ken was so very lame.

You know, to this day I don't think i've ever held a Barbie or Ken doll in my hands (not even as a collector) ... not counting the MIB Star Trek ones I had and sold off a few years ago.

Instead of a stuffed bear, I had a stuffed bunny. I had a boy one and something happened to him. Then, my Mom got me a girl one. No idea why she got me a girl one. It had a pink dress on and a bow. But, I clung to it and slept w/ it just like I did my previous bunny. That's the only girl thing I can think of.

Didn't really need to as my sister had a bunch of stuff so if I ever wanted to play with it she had it.
GI Joe spent a lot of time at Barbie's Townhouse. LOL
I'm sure Barbie had some rides in the Jeep as well.
