yep, my loverly girlfriend got me a boxed Hugo for my B-Day. I think my 2010 will be a great year for collecting toys, I'm finally ready to branch off and collect some great retro toys that fall outside my monster, alien, space toy esthetic.He looks great on display and IMHO is def top ten 70's toy.

Awesome, I gotta get one of those again one day. I had one when I was a kid and loved him. We used to scare the hell out of my younger cousin with him ("Hugo's in the attic waiting for you...."). Can't really blame him for being scared, Hugo was damn creepy looking.

I had a Hugo once, but my wife actually told me to sell it because he creeped her out. She literally wanted it out of the house!
And Hugot HeMan would be a great name for an action figure line, perhaps the WW2 French Freedom Fighters division of GI Joe.Comment

Congrats. I had one as a kid, and then acquired one for $20 at a flea market. The box was pretty beat up, but, the figure was in great shape and had almost all of its pieces. Unfortunately, I let him go. I'm downsizing my toy collection and trying to make it just a Mego collection. We'll see how that goes.
