Can anyone identify these toys for me?

I came across these in a box and kinda remember them but can't put a name to them:

They are about 3" tall, plastic, and the heads, hands, hair, etc are interchangeable. No dates or markings on them that I can see.

Also, I have a bunch of these figures that I collected, but I don't know the name for. They are wooden, 3" tall, with felt clothing glued on. I recall getting the Robin Hood & Friar Tuck set in the mail in '67 or '68 from a cereal mail-in offer. I found all of these at a flea market for a quarter apiece, I have about 15 of them. Aside from Robin Hood, the others are all figures in costume from different countries except for a Red Riding Hood one. I'm wondering how many others there are if anyone knows what they are called.

I had a couple of the bottom photo guys. Wooden with felt hats and feet. Probably still do somewhere at my Mom's house. Believe at least one I had is missing a nose. Don't have any idea on a manufacturer though. Sorry.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

The top ones look like C.R.A.P. figures, I think.....

They're not the greatest figures ever but I wouldn't call them C.R.A.P all the same....

        Sorry, couldn't resist.
No exclusives and no chase figures, please - I'm Canadian!

I can't believe you have these things. I have 2 from when I was a kid, the one that looks like a French policeman and one that looks like a prison inmate in a striped suit. I have been looking for info on these forever and thought I had the only ones left. Mine came in individual bags at a church bazaar in the 70's. I bought a carded set of these at a toy show a few years ago and I think the name on the package calls them interchangeables? The guy on the top right of your photo came with a chefs hat. I also have the Uncle Sam guy in your other photo. I'd like to find out more too...

I thought the little figures were from the late sixties, mostly from a feeling the judge figure ties in to the catch phrase "Here come da Judge!" from Laugh-In. My guess was they were gum machine prizes, the kind that come in a plastic egg. Hopefully someone else on here has seen 'em as well.

The wood head figures were from a cereal promo I'm positive and they came in the mail in late 1967, I'm sure as I distinctly recall getting the box in the mail after returning home with my Mom & sister from an afternoon matinee seeing Walt Disney's Jungle Book. I'd just like a name for them to see if I have all of them or if there are more out there to look for. I've had these for 2-3 years now, and it always struck me funny that there were only the couple story figures. I have the following:
Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, Uncle Sam, Beefeater, Buckingham Palace Guard, Scotsman, American Indian, Mexican Bandito, Mandarin, Red Riding Hood, Pirate with eyepatch, Pirate without eyepatch, and three different bearded figures with pointy cone hats. I'm thinking there should be at least one more, since I got a set of two in the mail, there should then be a minimum of 16 to be sold in pairs.

Ah, Goofy Changeables! Never heard of them....wonder how many they made, not that I'll be searching them out, but nice to know what they are!
Is there a date & mfr on that package? I was thinking sixties but that 98cent price makes me wonder if they weren't much later.
Thanks so much, appreciate the info!
Now can anyone name the wooden heads (btw, my wife thinks they were called nodwicks, but I dunno...)

According to the package there were 8.
                  1970 Imperial Toy.
If you ever want to rid yourself of these...holler.

Thats one thing about toy collecting that stinks. Unless youre into a well made well distributed well publicised tou you dont even know what to go looking for.
The funny looking face on the policeman looks familar. Guess I had more toys than I thought.
