I can't remember how a busted one looks like.
    Been 30 years!
It might be some kind of mechanism instead of bands...

What did you use on the remco? A mego type 2 rubber band? One of mine toppled off the dresser last week and then the legs band snapped but I haven't tried to fix it yet. I was thinking maybe a Fonzie leg band or would that be too tight?

I can't recall either but i seem to think they may be plastic links/joints similar to the super-joe joints?
Plus I would think it would be a beeyotch to try to split that torso (if necessary) and then get it all back together right with that "chopping" action feature.

I just got done making boxes for Captain Hook and Peg Leg but never had a FF figure from my own.

I just used the same type of elastic string that I use to restring T1 Megos. The hips have a type of plastic hook inside that originally have a thick rubber band holding them together through the pelvis. I just put elastic string on each hook, pulled it so it was really tight, tied it off and cut the excess. It worked pretty good on a really loose Remco Mummy I had.

Are they a repo of the orinigals or a custom design?

Y'know.... I don't remember them in stores either; but back in the early/mid 80's we found TONS of them at yard sales. So they were presumably sold here....

These were my favorites for Christmas. I ended up with 2 of each and the vinyl ship. I still have my original Peg Leg and actually bought Peg Leg & Hook this year. I just missed those guys I guess...

There was a big warehouse find of outfits in Toronto in the early nineties, I was involved. I found it weird because I don't remember them either.
