    Power Records Plaza

is a good spot for downloads.

Before the days of videotape and DVD being widely available these were how we had control over our own entertainment.

I pretty much only got the Star Treks (my lobbying power for toys was limited and I concentrated on Star Trek most of the time). I got the Crier in Emptiness and Passage to Moauv at a grocery store while shopping with mom.

I had believed they used the "real" voices for the record so it took a day or so to get over that these were some other voices.

The Star Trek ones were pretty cool.
Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"

Here's a site dedicated to all of the Power/Peter Pan Star Trek records:

Guide to the STAR TREK Story Records

I have all of the stories! (not all the variations, but all of the stories!)
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I so wanted some of these and the Adventure Team ones but I never got a single one. I must check out that POwer Records link above.

The funny thing is that I got a Bugs Bunny read-a-long off of ebay and my kids love it. Even in the instant age of the 21st Century, some things are timeless.
            It's all good!

              Heres another one I found

              Power Records

My favorite was their Halloween sounds record. This year I had the Ghostly sounds records sounds playing (on my computer not a record) while the kids came by trick or treating.
My favorites will always be the CONAN book and records. As well as the MAN THING. That scared the **** out of me as kid!
I never knew there was a Conan Star trek book and record "The time stealer" until I went to this blog.

Is it the one when Bugs goes into space? I have that one.

Here are a couple pics of me way back when on one Christmas morning when I got a Peter Pan Star Trek record:

Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"

This is actually a warner record from 1949 with Mel Blanc and June Foray doing the voices called Bugs Bunny in Storyland. I got a Woody Woodpecker one at the same time, but that one skips a lot.
                    It's all good!

I remember that first display, that's the one they had at my local Jewel/Osco as a kid. I had many Peter Pan book&records but my favorites will always be the G.I. Joe ones. I still have them and treasure them. I actually listen to them on a pretty regular basis too!

I think I might've posted this before, but anyone ever see this?

It's an "animated" version of the Secret Of The Mummy's Tomb book and record set-

I've posted that too. Isn't that great? I wish he'd do the other books. Even my mom was impressed by it! I have it bookmarked.

Me too! I watch it pretty often. I'd love it if he did others. I'm sure it took alot of work to make that one, but wow I'd love it if someone could do that for a whole bunch of the Peter Pan book & records.
