Mine too, and I had one as a kid, along with the Batcyle. I have a replacement one now, but for this exercise I was just sticking with items produced in 1966.

That was very detailed for someone not born to experience the Bat-Craze of 1966, LOL! Great article and it was fun seeing that stuff. I missed out too, but as you said, Batman was everywhere in the 1970s. And watching the re-runs on a black & white TV was a big part of my childhood. When I could get access and watch it the color TV? Oh man!

Thanks! Our big TV was color, and my sister had a small black and white in her room, so I was lucky in that regard. But we didn't have cable when I was really young. My aunt and uncle invited me up to their house just to watch the 66 Batman movie when it was airing on HBO. My mind was blown!

I love the vivid and well-sculpted hand-puppets, and the lunchbox is magnificent. Oh, that "Sprang" Penguin! Well-written, Chris.

But I think my favorite Batman'66 item is the 45 recording of Burgess Meredith in character.

The "'66" film will always be special to me, because It ran locally even in those lean years when the show didn't: Buzz was in charge and my favorite Catwoman, Lee Meriwether.

Plus, pre-nuclear Penguin-Sub. Bless you, Admiral Fangschleisser.

Poor Milton Frome. He got admonished by Batman for selling that sub, and in real-life, kids thought he'd killed Superman because he shot George Reeves in a rerun that aired on the day he was found dead.
