Visited Little Tokyo last Saturday with a friend and had to stop at my favorite shop: Anime Jungle. Saw this Popy chogokin that I've seen many times, but know nothing about the character. The price was right so I took him home and did some research. He's The Kagestar and here's some background on him.

How do you not like a hero that rocks an Evel Knievel cape?
I didn't look at the back of the box, so when I took him out I was surprised to see that it's battery operated! Never seen that before in a Popy chogokin.
His head and chest area light up.
The chest plate opens up to show his female partner, who's equally as bad-as5: Bellestar
