Ooooo! I am going to read this shortly, but I finally got my Disney Retro FF Set, and I have the Regal Fantasticar Popcorn bucket, which is inspiring me to rotate out my Batman '66 display with an FF & Superman Inspired display, so this is very exciting! I can't wait to read it! I was never a big FF fan until the Byrne years, but when I go through old comics, I realized I had a lot more FF comics than I realized.

Agreed! I just finished it and it was a great article. It was only missing showing a vehicle or two! I had all of the Toy Biz stuff, and now Hasbro, but that was the extent of my FF collection. Still is, minus the Mego Disney set. Toy Biz and Hasbro has done a great job fleshing out the FF universe though, which is great.

The original Toy Biz Marvel Legends Human Torch is still my favorite because I love the lines on the body, even if it's a very outdated figure.

Thanks folks, I appreciate the read and kind words. These are always fun to do. As I said in the article, I don't have as big of an FF collection as say Superman or especially Batman, but it was fun to select a few from mine and my son's collection. Somewhere is a rock hard Mister Fantastic stretch figure from the 2000s films, but I have no idea where he's at! But he don't stretch no more! ;-)

That's the one! Andrew has it somewhere, but his goop inside has solidified.

Yes, that was a great set. I have never owned it, but I remember almost pulling the trigger back when it was released. Can you imagine what that would cost now? It would have to be a HasLab project. ;-)

That FF Set was great! Toy Biz really did some great box sets and Build-A-Figures in the Marvel Legends Line.
