The Fashion Dolls of Doctor Moreau

What happens you combine Barbie with animal DNA? You get Mattel's Gorgeous Creatures line, which if I had to guess was an attempt to catch some heat off the popularity of Ms. Piggy.
I'm sure this line has an ardent fan base somewhere but I kind of find these guys disturbing, I prefer Blythe thank you very much.

Wow, even my all-knowing Barbie collecting wife had no idea about these.

The one on the far left look like a definite Miss Piggy rip-off.

These SHOULD be forgotten. They are an abomination to both God and Man.

I have the commercial for these, and I gotta say, they're UGLY!
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

                Hmmmm....

I remember these. A freind's little sister had a bunch. They were Mego scaled and she'd use 'em to play with us. (Nuthin' like seeing Kirk get punched out by an overdressed cow.)

That one really does look like Ms. Piggy. When I first saw the photo (before I read the text) I thought it WAS Ms. Piggy. I wonder if they produced more of that one than the other three???
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

I actually have these. I'm not sure why I just admitted that on a public forum though.
