Demolition Man or The New Adventure of He-Man

This morning as I was watching Demolition Man my BF abd I got to talking about it and the action figures come up. Mattel released a few figures but creating a lineup is a stretch. Most of the bodies come from The New Adventures of He-Men with new heads and paint job. There was NO figure that looked like the movie characters.

He-Man turned into Battle Baton Sparton

    Vizar became Blast Attack Phoenix

I nearly collected those because of the NA reuse. Just didn't like the movie.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

There was a Stallone figure that was reused from Arnold's Last Action Hero too.

The highlight of the line was the Hot Blast Car which was a repainted Last Action Hero Convertible.

This is interesting toy-wise; I never saw the film.

And New Adventures of He-Man was sixty episodes of jump-the-shark IMO. I will say though, I often checked out Optikk on the Children's Palace shelves because he looked so cool.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Umm, yeah, it's not great. The toys are kinda cool and better than the show which is obviously a pretty low bar. Because, wow, it is not good. If I'm totally honest both the NA Cartoon and the 87 movie are pretty bad.

One of my favorite Stallone movies. I love all the quirks of the "future" society.

I do have 3 of the figures from the toyline. Battle Baton Spartan and Blast attack Phoenix are considered the 2 "golden" figures as even though none of the figures really completely match the movie looks...they come closest.
I'd love to get the car...

The car is in fact NOT a repaint of the Last Action Hero car, but a completely unique sculpt with unique action features.

I HIGHLY recommend the film... its just a fun "shut your brain off" kind of movie.

I was there when they filmed one scene in San Diego so I like the film.

I liked the film fine. I remember there being toys, but the New Adventures of He-Man seemed such an ill-advised rebranding that I just basically ignored the whole toy line and marketing push. So I had no idea they "Robin Hood-ed" the He-Man figures for Demoliton Man.
