    Remember toys

Going through old toys brings up old memories. Back in '77 brother and I were playing with Megos. Mostly the Batman'66 universe.

This weekend my brother asked me about a vague memory of playing with Megos and there dogs. This got me thinking all weekend trying to figure out what dogs he was talking about and then that memory came back.

We had the Scooby-Doo & Dyno-Mutt parachute figures that we used with our Mego's.

My memory of this was they were part of the Batman Family and would solve crimes with Terrific Trio. Those parachutes never got used, we just wanted extra figures.

I really wish they would have released a Ace & Kryptonite but in our world they worked out. Just wish I had pics of us playing with them but film was expensive back then.

That's really cool. I had no ideal about those. Parachute toys weren't really my thing but would have loved the Scooby and Dyno-Mutt.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

We lived in the country so parachute toys would get caught in the trees. The only reason we picked up the rack toys was to add to our Mego collection. I am not sure if we got any other figures but the rest that came out was:

      Fred Flintstone
      Barney Rubble
      Yogi Bear

Thanks to post on Twitter another memory came to focus. When we were very young, we started to play with Mego Pocket Heroes (straight leg version). Batman & Robin would often team up with what I thought was Lassie.

Little me didn't 't understand that we were combining Fisher Price Adventure People in with our Pocket Heroes.

Thinking back the AP water set would offer help out PH Aquaman on adventures in the bathtub.

Imperial made a bunch of licensed parachute figures, even Buck Rogers and 1941` (!)
