Toy I.D. 70´s toy that made aluminum cars.

The cars were aluminum. You could paint them and crush them in the machine toy...That is all I remember about it.

I vaguely remember the ads for that toy. What a great idea: a toy that destroys your toys!

Hmmmm....

I remember a toy that let you make cars out of aluminum foil by compressing it around a positive mold. In the tv ad they'd colour them with magic markers, race 'em around a bit and compress them in the compactor end of the toy. Can't remember what it was called; but the one I'm thinking of came out around 1981 or so.
