    Sinclair Dinosaur exhibit/wax dinosaurs

I remember back in the late 60s at a local plaza,in the parking lot, they had a dinosaur exhibit with life size statues of dinosaurs on stationary "floats"

Thay had vending machines where you put your money in and a wax dinosaur would come out. Does anyone else share these memories?

My friend has a collection of these, about 8 or 9 of them. They had at least 6 different dinosaurs in 4 or 5 different colors of wax. The most common one is the Brontosaurus, often seen at flea markets etc. Some others like the Duck-billed dinosaur and Anklyosaurus are pretty rare. I think these debuted at the NY World's Fair in 1964 in a coin-op machine that did the injection mold process while you watched. Sinclair was a big sponsor of that World's Fair.
