    partial SOTC pics

Some of the stuff I've gathered over the years. I got a lot of this stuff during the old Toyshop days. I'm thankful that ePay came along as a lot of stuff was able to be acquired for a lot less; that's why you see so many MMM Scorpios in one of the pics. I paid a lot for my first one and wanted to get the avg cost down! My g/f shakes her head when I bring home that new find, but she has come to realize that I'm not the only crazy one after meeting my friends and seeing photos of others' collections online...LOL. I show her that my collection of stuff is dwarfed by other super serious collecors. I apologize for the poor pics and thanks for looking.

Wonderful collection, nice to see so much Captain Action.

I'm envious of all those SMDM figures.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Gorgeous collection and I love your cases, I so wish I had displays like that!

You and I have a similar taste as well, and I sadly have the same collecting gene for getting multiples, lol.

Look at all of those Scorpios! Any Colorform Aliens hiding in those cases?

Thanks. The great majority of those SMDM figures, including Oscar, Big Foot and the fembot, were purchased when you could grab a blg lot of them for $50-60. The three costumes were cheap enough at the time that I was able to buy nos ones and rip them open to put onto dolls. Now, no way as everything has gotten so expensive.

One thing I have never been able to pick up reasonably was the venus space probe!

I got those cases from a store that was closing out. I actually had 3, but had to leave one at a house when I moved; that was painful...lol. Unfortunately, I never got into the CFAs. I had acquired them in many a MMM deals over the years, but sold them as I didn't have them as a kid. I've always wanted an Astronautilus (sp) though. The melting of the helmets always scared me away. All of the CAs you see are from my second stint as a CA collector. I was big into MMM at the time and decided that I could not do both and sold all my CA stuff to a fellow CA lister! As you well know, CA in the old days was super expensive.......even for the worst of conditioned items!

Yes, I have that multiple sickness. I thought I'd post some pics so other's can show their g/fs that they are not the only crazy ones as others have done for me. HAHAHA. =)

I agree about the CFA's... I do have a full set, but they are far from mint. I probably should sell them, but they are pretty cool. I have a decent sample of MMM, but never went full in on those. I've had several Scorpios over the years, but the one I have kept is from the original owner.

Funny about your C/A collection.... almost the same for me. Collecting for a long time, and then sold off a lot of it. Then found it was easier/cheaper to buy it all back later and that's where I am as well.

I have the vintage GiJoe sickness as well, so I have too much of it hanging around too.

I love those display shelves and tell your g/f that my wife has to put up with hundreds of pairs of eyes staring at her from shelves when she is trying to work. She works from home, and our shared office is where most of my stuff is. GiJoes, Captain Action, multiple Kenner aliens, Shogun Warriors etc... all glaring at her everyday. She has an area blocked off behind her so when she is on video calls she isn't scaring everyone on there with what is creeping in behind her, lol.

                  Gorgeous collection.
The VENUS PROBE is a sore subject - I had one MIB and sold it - kick myself regularly for that.
