Bought Superperfection and Mr. Mouth for Kids

Brings tears to my eyes. My wife and I went to a flea market this afternoon and I bought an old Superperfection and Mr. Mouth. Ok, my wife bought the Mr. Mouth...newer version. Won't let my kids play with my vintage one. Anyway, I set them up and played with them. When I got up, they kept playing for another hour together. My daughter overheard my wife and I talking and she said, "well, we don't have as cool of games like this like you guys did when you were kids".

    Makes me proud!

Egads! I played this all the time as a kid. This link has some pictures of Mr. Mouth. I have the yellow one in my collection, like the one from my childhood. The green one is the one we bought for the kids today.

I had the old Mr Mouth, the one that looked like Pacman, great game.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That Shrek version looks a little scary! I didn't have either of these but I remember for rainy day lunch period, this girl brought in her Superfection from home. I think she and one boy in my class were the only ones who could put it together before the timer ran out!

I never had the Mr. Mouth game, but I remember the commercials for it Is Superperfection just the next version of Perfection? (wind up a timer and you've got something like one minute to put all the shapes in the base before it springs up and throws the pieces everywhere)? I had that game. Only it was more often used as a bomb that Batman had to deactivate before it blew up Robin.

Yes, it is pretty much the next version. I mistyped the original thread though. It is called Superfection. Anyway, instead of a bunch of shapes like Perfection, there is a grid of 5x4. What you need to do is make a cube out of 2 pieces of 40 possible pieces. So, only 2 of the 40 make a cube. You need to make 20 cubes under 2 minutes. Sounds easy, but, it ain't. Of course, after you do it for a while, you start memorizing the shapes and color combos, but, it is a ton of fun.
