The new Hake's auction is up and filled with some neat stuff. I'm sure this is old news here but I am largely unfamiliar with this 1990 cancelled toy line by Hasbro called "Tribes," but it looks like it would have been really cool.

Cool. Looks heavily MOTU influenced without being as direct of a copy as the Remco lines including Warlord. Not as squatty postured. This is visually a nice argue from MOTU to The Rescue Heroes style of the 90s. -
I knew about these. Tribes was intended as a MOTU copycat line and they are definitely aping the MOTU body style and sculpts. The different gimmick was hitting the animal totem on their belts would, Rock em Sock em style, launch their masks off.
