Aww yeah Titans.... (sorry Art, I had to)

I loved the movie and I sent away for Calibos. I still have him and the Cheron I bought at Kresge. Sadly, my cousin (yeah him again) broke Calibos' tail off years ago but he's still with me.

I remember being VERY disappointed in Pegasus and the Kraken and desperately wanting Bubo and Medusa!

I had everything but the Kraken. Great sculpts for the time which were hurt by minimal paint ops. Persus didn't even have eyebrows. They were a step up from Mattel's Battlestar figures though which didn't even have painted eyes.

My set is currently missing. Went looking for them today after seeing this thread. Haven't a clue what happened to them. Weird. Ah, well.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I had Perseus, Thallo, Cheron, & Calibos. I loved them & I wish I would have kept them. Maybe I'll do some lame Mego customs of them. Cheron should be easy. It's great seeing them again after so long. I forgot what they all looked like except Thallo, who was my favorite.

I still have the Kraken. He used to destroy G.I.Joe and the shogun Godzilla most of the time when I was playing with them.

I had Perseus and Charon when I was a kid (they're probably still around with either my Star Wars figures or my Indiana Jones figures) and a couple of my friends had Thallo and Calibos. I always liked skeletons, so I thought Charon was great, but I know he wasn't really a main character...neither was Thallo, actually. I can see having a figure for Ammon (Burgess Meredith) or Medusa since they were in the movie more. Hell, Dioskilus (the two headed dog) would have been cool too, but what probably went down was a group of guys at the toy company who hadn't seen the movie were going through a character list with photos and this happened...

"So we've settled on the first two figures: The main guy and the dude who looks like Satan. What about the other two? Our options are: Some old dude in a dress, another old dude wearing a different color dress, some random dude in armor and a mini-skirt, a Skeleton who looks like the Grim Reaper, and a bunch of chicks (oh, one of them has a bad 'snake' hairdo). What do you guys think?"

Everyone else in unison, "The skeleton and I guess the dude in armor."

"Ok, next topic: where are we going for lunch?"
