WOW! That photo of the terrariums brings back a lot of memories, I had some of those! But my favorite premiums had to be anything inside The Freakies. I have all the figures, balloon cars, & some of the magnets. I wish they would bring those characters back!

RE: Black Hole pencil holders:
YES!!! Bow before the supreme greatness that is 1979 mega-merchandising!
Combining the best of the late-70s-jump-on-the-Star-Wars-Sci-Fi-bandwagon-while-its-still-hot phenomenon with a practical household/educational application AND breakfast cereal. What better use for .75 ounces of injection molded multi-colored plastic can you think of??

>I wished they made some cool cereal toys now but they look boring!
There are some good ones. I got a CD with a ton of old Atari games; arcade AND 2600. THAT was neat! There was a disk of "Jackie Chan Adventures" episodes too, but I missed out on those.

For me it was these:

But I loved all of the Star Wars cereal premiums. Here is a US pictoral checklist:
Cereal Boxes (USA)
You guys and gals must remember this one from the mid-90s when the Star Wars craze was heating up again:

I still have the cards, the Han Stormtrooper (in mailing box unopened), and Making of Star Wars video.
I remember loving those gliders when I was a kid. I set up a strings from the top of the basement steps to the bottom and raced them with my sister.
Either I missed it, or that list is missing one cereal premium I remmber vividly as I had it. The Star Wars kite.Comment

>i remember shreddies having many cool toys
When I was a kid Shreddies had the BEST toys. Tragicly, my folks wouldn't buy more until I finished the box. Which meant choking back a LOT of those horrid little wheatcakes. (With determination I could finish off a whole box in one Saturday morning.)
A close (and more palatable) second was Captain Crunch. I remember going through a few boxes when they had these little haunted house pencil toppers. (We wnated tons of the bat, since we were using them as bad guys to fight Star Wars figures....)

C'mon. I remember the commercials: "Good, good whole wheat Shredddddies"
Never had them in the U.S. but saw the Canadian commercials.
Another one that I never had was, "Mr. Christie, you make good cookies" and either Zero bar or Aero bar; I forgot which name it was. I think Aero Bar.
