A pale imitation today. The box is now a bag and the quote "Toy Surprise Inside" is now "Stickers Inside." Blah.
            It's all good!

There is an Antique store downtown that has a display case of little metal toys from cracker jacks, they get 3 or 4 bucks a pcs for them.Always neat to look at.Best stuff I got where scooby doo, tatoos and pictures, little one less than an inch square.

Man, I didn't know that's what it had come to (I guess it's been a long time since I had some Cracker Jacks!)

I remember one Christmas, my father gave my mother a box of Cracker Jacks in her Christmas stocking, but she didn't like them, so she gave them to me. What she didn't know was that my father had painstakingly opened the foil wrapper, the box and the prize envelope and replaced the prize with a nice piece of jewelry...which I didn't want at all!

I love the old Cracker Jacks Toys because for a very long time my Grandmother collected them & they always remind me of her. I'm kinda bitter that today all you get is a crappy piece of paper...BRING BACK THE REAL TOYS!

I was never a big fan of Cracker Jacks, but there was a similar product that had a black circus elephant on a white box with pink stripes. It had a kind of pink colored popcorn that tasted ten times better than Cracker Jacks, but still had the great toys inside. I dont recall the name of the stuff..or even know if they still make it? In fact, I had forgotten all about the stuff till now. Funny what some of these threads can help you remember.

I didn't like the taste of it so instead I bought that pop corn rubbeb in the reddish sugar
and often there was a small plastic dinosaur in it...I still have some of them today!

I'm old enough to remember when the prizes were plastic doohickeys. I stopped buying Cracker Jacks when they started making all the prizes from paper. (Stickers, joke books, etc)

I just remember getting DC Comics stickers, I loved Cracker Jack for that.

As a child I preferred Lucky Elephant, it had plastic prizes like army men.
