Captain America never gets enough toy love IMO. These RC cars were an uncharacteristicly higher price point item from AHI and while the Spider-Man car was around for a couple of years, I can only find evidence of Cap being offered in 1980 thus far. I've never seen a boxed Captain America Car either.

I never got the cool Mego vehicles, but I sure had that AHI Spider Man Car. Wow, $14? Surely my parents bought him discounted at a drug store.

I still have mine like this one, only my remote is like the ones in Brian's ad but in green. I keep it on a shelf in my home office. Great play value.

I had the Spider-Man car. Actually one of the few remote-controlled vehicles I can recall having in my childhood.

I had the Spidey car. Hit the button and the car would turn in reverse. Much fun.

I only wish I'd saved the box! It was one of my favorite toys and I took very good care of it.
