    Hot Wheels Find!

Yard sale season is winding down around here but this morning I hit a pretty good one. Snagged a case of redline Hot Wheels! 24 cars total.

Anyway, I was curious if any of these are unusual or more uncommon. Condition varies but none are really wrecked.

Any Hot Wheels experts around here?

They all look nice to me. Redlines are tough in even very used shape. From what I've read, the 67-71 models are the best bets and harder to find. The Muscle cars, "Custom this or that" are better in that category and the Spoilers are sometimes even better in that category (which are Muscle Cars with racing decals). If you find a spoiler with a black hood or a custom musting with louvers on the windows, those are keys. There are more exceptions that I don't remember but this is a start. I hope that helps.

You can drill down to a price guide.

Finding those particular RL's at a yard sale in an original case like that is like finding, The original 4 WGSH in a cary case at a yard sale! Pretty tough to manage.

Thanks for the link, it's been helpful.

I think a couple of these are a little tougher pulls, but most of these in this condition are $8 to $20 commons....

I've got that same case and some of those same cars in about the same condition.

                Those were the days!

Wasn't it nice when you could actually play with your toys?
Too many toys. Not enough space!

I still play with my toys.

i am no hotwheels expert but I've tried to rebuy cars from m,y youth and redlines in these conditions will probably bring a good price

Nice haul for sure! The best site for Redlines is called Redlines Online, go to their message board and show them what you found, they will help you out.
