    Frankenstein Meets The Mummy!

At my house anyway, every year my neighbour puts on a display with Jason, Freddy and Leatherface, while cool it isn`t my idea of Halloween. So I decided to spend some time in the garage and make these two, both of them are about seven feet tall.
I modeled the mummy after the Lincoln International Action figure, even has the elongated fingers, I toned down the blood a bit though.

Reaction has been swell, parents love them although it is somewhat weird to have a kid point to Frankenstein and ask who it is.......

    Happy Halloween People!

Ha!! Lincoln Mummy is stylin' those converse.

Pretty weird to hear the kids have no recognition of Frankenstein. I guess we were just exposed a lot more with the Lincoln and AHI figures from our generation.

    Neat display.

I kind of hate Jason and his ilk for usurping Halloween somewhat from the classic monsters. It's good that you are trying to spread the old Universal love. I would totally come up to your house and trick or treat!

The boy and I did our part, going as old school Wolfman and Dracula while trick-or-treating last night.

Now those are cool. It's a shame tho kids don't recognize Frankenstein

Well, I wore my classic Universal Monster shirt and Frankenstein socks on the night I went to the Creature Features Live movie fest here in Oakland. I even printed (cute) Dracula and Frankenstein stickers for my pre-schoolers Trick Or Treat bags.
