James sent me in this awesome shot of himself still wearing his Ben Cooper Superman costume well past October 31st as what can be evidenced by what is in the background.
I say, Bravo to you James. I find the sight of Halloween decorations being replaced by Santa on October 31st somewhat bothersome.
That particular Superman costume is the first one I ever remember wearing. Even at age 3 or 4, I never understood the red mask (or the S buckle) either.
I'll take down the Halloween today or tomorrow, but I'll wait until Nov. 27th before the fat guy in red goes up.

I find it bothersome that Christmas decorations have been up in the local stores for close to a month around here and people have had Christmas decorations up in their yard for several weeks. What ever happened to putting up the Christmas decorations right after Thanksgiving? All I have to say about this situation is:

Yeah, it is as if Thanksgiving was a non-event this year as the stores transitioned from Halloween directly into Christmas. And one could assume this is the impact of a bad economy and efforts to draw shoppers in early, but who knows. I like to enjoy Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas in their own time and not rush things.

What's even worse is the stores that were set up around here for Christmas at the end of SEPTEMBER! Those *******s! Let me have my damn holidays!
