European classics Number 1 - Altantic Captain Harlock

A first step back in European vintage toys ...
The number in the title does not mean that it is the best European product, but I intend to post multiple threads on European toys. It is easier to give them a number on.

In 1978, Captain Harlock figurines were made by the Italian company Atlantic.

Three sets were produced for distribution in itlaie and France-Belgium:
Set 151: Captain Harlock with friends (Note that the box (in French and Italian) listing 16 figurines. But Captain Harlock is in two parts (character + wrapper). In total, there are only 14 characters including some double)
Set 152: Mazone (16 characters including some double)
    Set 153: starship Arcadia (model)

The official titles of the sets are the following:

151 Italian: capitan Harlock e i suoi amico (16 personaggi)

151 French: Albator le corsaire de l'espace - albator et ses amis (16 personnages)

152 Italian: Regina Raflesia e i nemici di capitan harlock (16 personaggi)

152 Italian: Albator le corsaire de l'espace - reine Silvydra et les ennemis (16 personnages)

153 Italian: Alkadi - l'astronave di capitan harlock (rare)

153 French: Albator le corsaire de l'espace - Atlantis le vaisseau spatial d'albator (rare starship Arcadia)

    ALBATOR!

Those are neat! I got a few of the Atlantic Grendaizer/Goldorake sets. The figures are awesome, the models are horrible!

How can you not love a space pirate with a skull and crossbones on the front of the ship?
        He's super cool!
