It does seem to me that the two on the left are teasing the guy in the yellow undies with the crocheted muscle shirt. However, they are all equally guilty by today's standards. Actually, they are all guilty by the standards of any rational person of any era.
Meanwhile, I stayed with two other friends in a smallish hotel room the other night.
My friend had booked two Kings and a pull-out, which sounds dirty, but they gave us
two queens and no pull-out, which doesn't sound any better. The young girls at the desk actually laughed at us as we left the counter!
Both my friends offered to let me sleep in their bed, one under the covers/one over, but I slept on the floor anyway. Needless to say, the scene depicted in the above photo bears no relationship to reality whatsoever.
