They look like die-cast Shogun Getter robots.

      Yep, diecast Shoguns.

I had a few of these in my younger days. Looks like Poseidon minus a missle and Raydeen minus some hands. I may have the names wrong, but I am sure Chris (Cjeffreys) can get them correct.

I am in need of some micronaut parts. If you are wanting to sell, please shoot me a pm. Thanks

edit: Not Raydeen, but Raider. That one had interchangeable hatchets and drill bit looking things for hands.

          see above edit.

The name was Raider. Must have gotten it confused with an old girlfriend. It has been a long time since I have seen these.

That's the power droid; renamed a GONK droid years later. ('Cos of the noise it makes in the movie.)

He is actually a painted McDonald's trashcan that was made into that droid.(at least in the movie).

Yep, rche is correct, the US names Mattel gave them are Raider and Poseidon, their Japanese names are Getta (or Getter) Ryger (sometimes spelled Liger) and Getta Poseidon. They form a team along with Getta Dragon (released here as Dragun). Basically those are diecast robots released in Japan as a part of Popy's Chogokin series and here as Mattel's Shogun Warriors. Nice find, but unfortunately finding the missing pieces will not be easy.
