Yard Sale Gold--yet another finds thread!

It's no secret--I love sharing my finds in the wild.

Anyway, I walked into one of the best yard sales of my life. This sale was supposed to start on Saturday morning and the listing looked REAL promising. So tonight I was just driving by to see where the house was and lo and behold THEY WERE SETTING UP THE NIGHT BEFORE. There was another couple browsing so I asked from the street "Are you guys open?" and they answered "Sure!"...

So I got pretty much free reign of the sale without ANY competition. It was almost too good to be true. Lunch pails for 50 cents to 2 bucks. Superhero glasses for $1. Mego Batmobile for $2. Plush Chewbaca for 75 cents. Just unbelievable yard sale prices on 70's vintage!

Man that is nuts! I have the Roy Rogers thermos to that lunch box. I'd love to have a Simms/Duncan Batmobile like that! The stuff looks perfect!

I NEVER find any good stuff around here. It's almost as if the 70s and 80s only happened in my neighborhood...

Well, if any of you had read the listing to this sale YOU ALL WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE! I mean, "Adventure Team" and "Evel Knievel" were in the listing! I'm just glad I drove by the night before. I was just scoping the house to make sure I knew right where it was so I wouldn't waste any time in the morning and to my surprise they were set up!

Incredible WOW. I have had one of those Chewys on my watchlist for the last week, and yours is much nicer. I don't even have a Batmobile let alone one for $2. Good onya...I would feel like I had died and gone to Heaven if I were you.
