    G.I. Joe Action Team Catalog

G.I. Joe in Europe experienced a massive change in 1975, when the ladies came over! That's right, German adventurers Hard Rock, Tom Stom and John Steel were now joined by Super Peggy and Super Sandy. There was no kitchen playset in the action team, these women were full fledged adventurers!

Other surprises this year included a series of Western outfits and a soldiers of the world series both of which didn't see release in the United States.

I wish we had the girls here in the states! And I love how the Action guys actually had names.

Talk about women's empowerment- those figures would have kicked butt! I sincerely believe those figures would have a more positive impact in the 70's than slapping a doctor's gown on Barbie.

I feel a great disturbance in my bank account; as if thousands of dollars cried out and were suddenly gone.

Man I want to get into some of that German AT.

The naming of the Joes makes one wonder if that influenced the RAH line later on.

This is some cool stuff. Much more interesting and true to the previous releases than Mike Power and Bullet Man.

I have that Yellow Tail Stick Shifter that's at the end of the catalog. I like that soldier of the world stuff.
                    It's all good!

I agree. I completely understand why Mike Power came out though. It was just the right time for a figure like that. However, as these photos show, there were other figures that would have been cool to have in the USA!

Most of Action Team stuff was made in same factory as GIJOE like Mego did. Great stuff! The early stuff in Germany used old style Action Man bodies with gripping hands then they used muscle bodies like Gijoe. France, Italy , and Germany pooled Factory orders so most items are same, except tags and special orders. Italy AT clothing says made in Hong Kong nothing else.
