CA stuff is kinda like the RC bats with price fluctuations. There's still quite a bit of it floating about, but there is also a lot of crossover demand and an amazing amount of bits. The prices jump around like crazy. Mint boxed examples hold a steady value. Everything else seems a little erratic, especially in the current economy.

Condition and completeness rule the pricing on these gems.

As for masks... Which mask are you looking for. A clean spidey mask will probably go over 50, while a messy Supes might sell for 5. The 67 characters, including the Action Boy stuff, tend to have higher prices (except for Tonto - ?? not sure why). The 66 items are a bit more plentiful and can be found for a little less. Againk, the accessories are bugaroos. Hard to find items or fragile things like Aquaman's trident have a life all their own.

well now, why didn't you say so.

post what you have and I'm sure you can get a ballpark from the folks around here who do that stuff. You may even get an offer or two.

Originally I was just trying to ID parts and maybe put together one or two figures. I just started thinking about selling the stuff when I realized that I really can't afford to get into the Captain Action stuff

I only have a Sgt. Fury mask and hand grenade. I have some other pieces that I don't think are Captain Action, but they may be. The only pieces I'm sure are Captain Action are the Sgt. Fury Mask and grenade.

So, yeah, I guess it would be cool if anyone could give me an idea on what they'd be worth.

I have a few questions, I have been picking up a few odds and ends for CA...who the hell are Sgt Fury and this Canyon character? Also, why does the Batman cape always have black stripes on it? I am in the market for variosuo accfessories if anyone has anything....looing for a Phantom face piece, holster and guns, Superman Mask and Krypto, Flash Gordon boots

Sgt Fury is Nick Fury before he joined SHIELD. Steve Canyon is an adventurer from a newspaper comic strip started in the late 40s.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

And Batman's cape has the black lines, because..? Well, it was Ideal's way to make his cape look like it had folds.

'Course I always felt bad for some collectors because the cape wasn't always cut with the folds going 'up and down'; there's a lot of collectors of loose C/A Batman sets that have capes with the black lines going sideways. Eww..

"Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos" was a comic book published by Marvel Comics from 1963 to 1981. As Werewolf said, Sgt. Fury went on to become Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D., but an interesting piece of trivia that many people don't know about the original comic book "Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos" is that it got it's start when Stan Lee made a bet with Martin Goodman that the Stan Lee / Jack Kirby team could sell a comic book with the worst title they could come up with. Although I always liked the title, apparently the length of the title was supposed to make it a really bad title.
