Star Wars Power of the Force questions???

If I remember correctly, the first release of Star Wars Power of the Force was around 8 or 10 figures. Which figures were in the first wave and how much are they currently going for? Are ANY of the Power of the Force figures either expensive or difficult to find? How many did they release in all?

POTF figures are the most rare just because they came out in 84-85 during it's last run and people weren't really buying them as much so the numbers were much smaller and some pieces were only available overseas

the last 17 are the best ones
    Imperial Dignitary
    Amanman
    Storm trooper luke
    Han in Carbonite
    Imperial Gunner
    A-wing pilot
    Light Sabre R2-D2
    Yak-Face
    a few Ewoks
    General Lando

I couldn't give away my MOC B-wing pilot with coin for nothing.

As a matter of fact, I had to pay somebody to take it

are you looking for info on carded figures? The potf cardback included several (tho not all ) of the figures that were released on previous cardbacks plus the last seventeen figures. For loose figures, the designation POTF tends to refer to the last 17 figures.

          Paploo
Lumat (these two were also released on ROTJ cards)

          1984 potf

Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2) With Pop Up Lightsaber
          A-Wing Pilot
          Han Solo (In Carbonite Chamber)
          Imperial Dignitary
          Imperial Gunner
          Luke Skywalker (Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit)

          1985 potf

          Anakin Skywalker
          Amanaman
          Barada
          EV-9D9
          Lando Calrissian (General Pilot)
          Luke Skywalker (In Battle Poncho)
          Romba
          Warok

non us release tri logo or POTF

Yeah B-wing is so common on ROTJ cards and POTF with coin cards.

Now the hardest things you'll have to look for if you're going for loose are

EV-9D9 can be tough to find with good arms.

            Luke stormtrooper's Helmet

            R2's Lightsaber

            Amanaman's staff

and the guns that go to the imperial gunner and A-Wing pilot.

and watch out for repros repros and more repros ... they're everywhere for these parts, Luke's helmet is a real pain when it comes to repros since a lot of people don't even realize they have a repro with their figure

Do any of you guys have a photo already posted online of the last 17 from a cardback? I don't even know if I've seen some of those.

hope this helps. The figures are pricey loose or carded .

The Power of the Force Proof Card Checklist

The luke stormtrooper helmet is a hard one to get correct. I bought one where someone had dremeled out a regular stormtrooper helmet for it. It is much more sturdy than the original.

from gus and crew at swca - kind of small, but you can see the last seventeen in the front row on the cardback.

this is the potf US released card.
                  http://theswca.com/images-speci/card...mages/potf.jpg

here is an unproduced proof of a card that would have included YakFace; but he was not released in the US.

                  hope that helps.

rebelscum.com and theswca.com are great resources for vintage info.

It's too bad that as every year goes by, POTF cards without yellowing bubbles seem harder and harder to find. I think they are the most susceptable compared to the other series.

Biggest regret I have with this line was I had a chance to pick up an Anakin Skywalker for 60 bucks and passed.

So is it just numbers 1-17? Are they expensive for the loose ones too?
