Many years ago (late 70's or very early 80's), I had a (believe to be) silver space-ish (but not really) toy like rifle. The thing is that something similar to a film projector was part of the toy. Like you had the gun and you look down the barrel (or eye piece) and would see pictures scroll by. On top of the toy was a round circle like thing (like a tray that rotated in a circle) that would project a film with frames showing pictures of like a generic ghost or frankenstein. The pics were all in white with a black background because you were able to project this onto a wall (though as a small image) in addition to seeing it through an eye piece.
This was a shooting game of some kind and as these cells (pics) went by you had to try and shoot them. I think this might have worked with air compression because I do recall that where you shot on the film would be a small hole. Eventually you would have to replace the film piece (which they sold alone). I remember trying to play with this without shooting because I could not get a replacement for it
